The Peace and Power Family

The Peace and Power Family (#PAPFam) claims space and proclaims that only Love Lives Here. Empowered by the peace we receive from our relationship with Jesus Christ, we love God with all of our souls, hearts, minds, and strength. In loving ourselves and in loving God as best as we can, we also work to actively love all of God’s people. This peace and love give us a power that cannot be measured in materials, but rather a power that informs social action and drives our dream of spiritual transformation.

#PAPFam emphasizes the significance of community building. As such, we work to lovingly affirm each other recognizing God’s grace as sufficient for our strength. We support one another as we seek to identify our unique, individual gifts and cultivate them for the fulfillment of our purpose, the bettering of humanity, and the advancement of social justice. We rejoice in the beauty God has bestowed upon Earth, but we also grieve at the injustices and depravity of our world.

Jesus has called us to recognize and appreciate each other as vessels of God. As a community it is important for us to know that we are not alone and that there are others who aim to lead a life of love and peace. As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. May we sharpen ourselves in spiritual exchange, intellectual dialogue, and social discourse!
